Depending on what team, how many routines, and how many competitions your dancers compete with will determine the overall cost. Our teams will fundraise throughout the year to help alleviate the financial burden. We also offer monthly payment plans to spread the overall cost of competition season.
Yes. Our teams compete statewide and nationally. Though local and statewide competitions are required, National Competitions we attend are optional for our families. The most common trips we take are to Las Vegas and Anehiem. Las Vegas includes a show (family friendly) and Anehiem includes Disneyland.
Our schedule varies each season due to instructors and families. Dancers on our younger team will be required to take three to six classes weekly, whereas the older team is required to take seven. This number includes their routine practices, ballet, conditioning, and an elective. The monthly tuition fee includes all these classes as well as any clinics or workshops put on by Unity Center of Dance. Families will receive a summer schedule and tentative fall schedule upon registration for tryouts. During the summer, competition dancers are expected to attend their two-day weekly classes.
