Samantha Grover received her training in Theatre Education and Dance at Central Washington University and holds a certification in dance from DTW at the University of Las Vegas. Samantha Grover received her training in Theatre Education and Dance at Central Washington University and holds a certification in dance from DTW at the University of Las Vegas. During her time at CWU, she performed in various stage productions, served as Captain of the CWU Collegiate Dance Team, and received theatre scholarships. In 2010 Samantha opened her own successful dance company in Ellensburg, WA, which operated for eight years until her family moved due to her husband’s job.
With over 19 years of dance education experience and over 15 years of coaching dance teams in schools, Samantha now holds multiple certifications in dance and acro/gymnastics. She has also judged dance competitions for many years and holds multiple awards for choreography, costuming, staging, and judge’s choice awards.
Samantha has worked with many individuals in the TV/film and dance industry and has been involved in various projects in LA and Utah. She continues to be active in the acting community, offering acting classes and performing on stage and for projects whenever opportunities arise.
Some notable individuals she has trained and worked with include Michael Smith, Therese Young, Tony Coppola, Jess Stafford, Simone DePaolo, D’Valda and Sirico, Dhar Mann Productions, and Pete Thelisma from ABDC.
Currently, Samantha is pursuing her Masters in Business while also being a full-time wife and mother, and working as an assistant coach at Clearfield High School.
While teaching, she aims to create a space where everyone can learn to dance and is dedicated to seeing students grow not only as dancers, but as people. Samantha strives to build confidence and create an environment where students and teachers learn from each other, uplift one another, and grow into individuals they can be proud of. The UCD mission statement truly embodies Samantha’s passion for teaching arts to all.

Kami Miller graduated with a BFA in dance from Western Michigan University in the spring of 2019. She trained in modern, contemporary, ballet, and jazz under the instruction of recognized dance professionals such as Whitney Moncrief, Carolyn Pavlik, David Curwen, and Jeremy Blair. During her four years, Kami had the privilege to perform works by Aszure Barton, Brendan Duggan, Christian Denice, and Lew Christensen. She was also a member of Western Michigan University’s touring ensemble, Western Dance Project, where she had the opportunity to perform throughout Michigan and Chicago. Her early training included the School of Nashville Ballet and the School of Eisenhower Dance Detroit with additional training at summer intensives held by Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Company | E, and Eisenhower Dance Detroit. Kami was a convergence trainee with the Big Muddy Dance Company for their 2019-20 season, performing works by Brian Enos among other choreographers. She joined Resilience Dance Company in 2019 and was a company member for three seasons. In 2022, Kami moved to Salt Lake City and joined the teaching staff at VIBE Dance Studio where she is still on staff. She is also an instructor at Luv 2 Dance Studio. Kami is excited to join the staff at Unity Center of Dance.
Kami has been teaching since 2015. She teaches ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern, pointe, and creative movement. As a teacher, Kami strives to acknowledge and cultivate the creativity and individual strengths of each student while creating an environment where they feel empowered to become their best selves. Kami loves teaching kids of all ages and sharing her passion for dance.
Kaylyn Lippert is a choreographer and instructor trained in tap, jazz, ballet, kick line, and hip hop. She has danced for 16 years, and this is her second year instructing. In 2020, Kaylyn danced on the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Golden Girls dance team, and she was a part of the Gardendale High School Rockettes dance line from
Kaylyn Lippert is a choreographer and instructor trained in tap, jazz, ballet, kick line, and hip hop. She has danced for 16 years, and this is her second year instructing. In 2020, Kaylyn danced on the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Golden Girls dance team, and she was a part of the Gardendale High School Rockettes dance line from 2016-2020. Kaylyn prides herself in her work as a private lesson instructor, helping middle and high school students make the dance team of their dreams. When she is not in the dance studio, Kaylyn works as a registered nurse and midwife assistant! She loves to be a part of big moments, whether that be a student nailing their solo or helping bring new life into the world! Kaylyn also competes in pageants and offers pageant coaching in walking and interview. Kaylyn invests her time into creating a positive dance space for each and every student, creating lasting memories and confidence that exudes well beyond the dance floor.
Olivia Starks - Originally from Los Angeles, California, Olivia moved to Utah in 2022. Olivia has danced for 14 years and has been involved in theatre for 11 years. She is highly skilled at all dance styles and has performed in various dance and theatre productions in California and Utah.

After I graduate high school I'm planning to double major in modern dance and Astronomy. My goal is to be on a contemporary dance company Someday but my dream is to go to Isreal and dance with Batsheva Dance Company. I'm trained in all styles with an emphasis on contemporary and ballet. I grew up competing where I found my love for the art and I'm so excited to teach here at Unity!
